FEES

 

School Fees are paid three times a year on the first week of each term.

The fee is currently £50 per term.

When registering, a deposit of £50 is required per family.

This deposit will be kept until such time as the child leaves the school, when it will be refunded if a term's notice is given in writing.

If notice is not received, the deposit will not be refunded

Policies & Regulations

During lesson times we have at least two CRB checked committee members available (for any questions or emergencies which may arise). All children who attend the school are also covered by an insurance policy.

Lessons are from 5.30pm to 8.00pm every Friday evening during term time, with a 15 minute break when the classes have an opportunity to socialise and purchase items from the tuck shop.

The school is open at 5.15pm. Pupils should be in school by 5.25pm to begin lessons at 5.30 prompt. End of school is 8.00pm. Please make sure you pick your child up from inside the school, as they will not be allowed to leave the building unless supervised by an adult.

A fire drill is held once a term and pupils must be aware of the fire regulations.

Parents are actively encouraged to help out with setting up the tables and chairs before the lessons start and/or to help clear out at the end.

Classroom behaviour

Pupils must attend lessons with all necessary equipment (books, pen, pennil, ruler, etc.)

All money and personal belongings must be kept on the owner's person. Personal stereos, ipods, electronic games etc., should not brought into school. Tne school accepts no responsibility for their loss or damage.

Eating should be confined to break time. Litter must be put into the bins provided, both inside and outside the building to ensure a clean hygienic envinonment.

Any accident or damage to equipment or furniture should be reported immediately.

Students are expected to listen to the teacher, work positively and constructively whether alone or in groups, to achieve a worthwhile work output in class and to produce homework to their best ability. They are also expected to behave courteously to all members of the school and wider community.

Students are expected to attend each concert and learn the poems and songs.

Bullying of any kind is unacceptable.

Homework/Progress Reports

Homework is given each week in accordance with pupils age and ability. It is recorded in a homework diary which parents are asked to check and sign.

At the end of the summer term the children are presented with certificates that include comments from their teachers and celebrate their progression into the next class.

Open Days

Open days are held each term and advance notification is given to parents. Parents are expected to attend these, to be informed of the progress that their child has made during the term and to discuss any concerns that may arise.
